Description

Senoir Purchase Manager

Thorough Knowledge in procurement of gifts and promotional items
Ensure that the Inputs are delivered on time at the Warehouse for receipt by Field before Day 0 ( Day 0 defined as the 1st day of Each Month)
In price negotiation use the principle of 3 C’s – compete ,collaborate & concede
Apply the rule of Cost Break up for evaluation of Local Manufacture, Sourcing Strength for Imports & Market/ Competitive Dynamics for Branded Goods
Ensure that budgeted expenditure is not exceeded
Adherence to SOP
Expansion of vendor base, go direct to manufacturer, evaluate quote based on cost component to leverage competitive pricing. Also use the tool of “reverse auction” to maximize price advantage
Track input from Indent to Delivery at Warehouse
Vendor Management/ Hygiene
Resolution of BMT issues with Vendors
Negotiating rates and finalizing with vendors.
Ensure Compliance to Business Policies and Processes
To “turnaround the indent to a closure “ within the time frame agreed with the BMT
Ability to connect Input chosen with the Campaign Theme & Brand being promoted
Analysis of Medical Project Costing to evaluate Proposals & decide on a realistic cost
Knowledge of Market & Players in the Market for Branded / Local / Imports & Print inputs
To meet the Day 0 in Field , Ability to Take High Pressure is a must
Continuous follow up with Both the BMT & Vendor to ensure that delivery timelines are met
Get the most realistic price for the item without sacrificing the quality & timelines for delivery
Managing vendors for consistency in the parameter of Quality
Resolution of Issues between BMT & Vendors
